Who am I?!

Hi, I'm Chen, an artist and art teacher.

I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. As a shy and introverted child who didn't always know how to express herself in words, I found in drawing my way of speaking - another language that has connected me to my inner world for over twenty years. I always knew that when I grew up I would be an artist, and art accompanied me as part of my identity.

Through painting, I express ideas, inspirations and insights into life - in a visual way that allows everyone to stop, observe and feel. In 2024, I fulfilled a big dream when I exhibited at the Fresh Paint Fair. Today, I create in my studio in Ashdod, focusing on landscape paintings of my hometown. I present the city through the eyes of a tourist - a poetic and sometimes allegorical combination between the worlds of the living, the plant and the still.

Even when I give a name to a work, I seek the connection to a complete story from within my inner world. Every painting for me is a gateway to a story, to an experience, to a new perspective on reality.

I am excited to share this journey with you - to show how I see the world, with wonder and beauty, but also with a view of the destruction that continues to exist around us. Art is my way of turning this tension into a conversation, an invitation, a speech.
